Collecting IP Addresses

The Centre for Data Digitisation and Analysis will not make any attempt - nor allow a third party to link IP addresses with information that would identify individuals.

Cookies
We are continually trying to develop and improve our website, and, in order to do this, we sometimes place small amounts of data on your computer. This data is called a ‘cookie’ and is standard practice on most organisations' websites.
Cookies are used for many reasons, for example:

  • To allow us to know when you have accessed certain areas of our website (e.g. the location tab)
  • To learn how our site is used, for us to continually improve through statistical data

Cookies are used across most of our websites, but we do not use these to try and identify our users. You can manage or delete cookies as you wish. For further information visit AboutCookies.org
